Half Truths: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves

There are some things we say that sound right but may not be entirely true. Under careful examination they are often found to be, at best, half-truths. Take the statement, “God helps those who help themselves.” In one way you can see that’s biblically sound. Yet in other ways, it’s not quite true. God helps those who help themselves and THANKFULLY God helps those who cannot help themselves.
