HALF TRUTHS: God Said It. I Believe It. That Settles It.

“God said it. I believe it. That settles it.” The saying has been placed on bumper stickers and billboards. There are t-shirts emblazoned with the slogan. There’s even a catchy tune with the motto as the theme. It seems like a statement that can be quickly embraced, but it oversimplifies Scripture. Jesus is our model and is the definitive Word of God.
