“Joy to the world the Lord is come” the Christmas carol rings out. The joy that Christ offers is not based on external circumstances. It is to be anticipated, though joy may come in unexpected ways. We choose joy by viewing life through the lens of gratitude, by stepping out in obedient faith, and abiding in Jesus.
