Eternity in Every Day
Time is short, and none of us are guaranteed tomorrow. Psalm 90 is the oldest psalm in the Bible, written by Moses in the wilderness as he faced the reality of an entire generation passing away. It speaks honestly about the brevity of life, the certainty of death, and the weight of sin — but it doesn’t leave us without hope.
Instead, it points us to the eternal God who never changes and invites us to walk closely with him. In a world that is always shifting, he is our permanent home. In a life that often feels fleeting, he teaches us to use our days with wisdom. And in a time when we long for joy and meaning, he satisfies us with his love and establishes the work of our hands. Even though our days pass quickly, God can turn them into a legacy that outlives us.
