You rush to get everyone to the family meal on time. You try to find just the right outfit. The Easter baskets need to be individualized for each child’s personality. The weekend arrives, you make it to the in-laws only to realize that one of the kids laid a chocolate bunny on your car seat. The day is rapidly becoming a classic “Pinterest Fail.”
Here’s the good news of Easter. It isn’t about the candy, or the outfit, or the perfect family meal. In fact, Easter isn’t about any of that. It’s about Jesus who died, rose from the dead, and offers hope and forgiveness to all of us imperfect people.
